Hey Jack, its Brian Larsen. After spending many hours on the phone with Bare Brakes and CenterLine Wheels trying to match up the right
setup, its done. The brakes & rims are being built & shipped to you. As far as the rims, I ordered
16x8 with a 5" offset (Front)
16x9.5 with a 5.5" offset (Rear)
Both Rick & Carlos said this should be the best setup. If anything I would need to add a 1/2" spacer but they said it should be fine as is.
As far as tires, I'd like a street use setup with black walls. No white lettering. If I end up at the track next year, I'll deal with
slicks then.
Any problems with the new instrument cluster setup? Did you get the template for the gauges?
Also, can you give me an update on the progress of the work done so far, and are we still on track for completion aprox. July 9th? (4
weeks).
