Default Look what I picked up last night!

Took my trailer up to Londonderry and brought this home.

I got it in the garage just before the snow started.

11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s!
11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.

1987 Pontiac Fiero GT
It's actually my nephew's. The poor kid just got his license searched for and found this car. At Thanksgiving Arlene asked him how the car was. "Not good," was his reply. Blowing smoke like crazy.
Sooooo, I picked it up and tore it apart. It's just like any used car I have bought. Loose intake bolts the wrong bolts in some spots, #2 piston is different, you know, messed up. But all in all, it isn't too bad. I should have it back together in a couple of days.

It actually came apart pretty good. Only two bolts gave me a problem. Snapped one and cut the other. Now I just have to remove those and find my torque wrench and get it together before the next snow.
I guess the GN and waGoN have to wait, yet again. At least I have vacation this week.
