Your best bet is to call Jack directly. He willl let you know what you need for add ons to reach your goal. He can tell you what order to do them also, just in case you are on a budget. He may even be able to point you to a decent builder in your area.
With that said, I would suggest a rooler cam with your rebuild. (Just can't trust the flat tappets any more what with the change in motor oils) Go with a bigger turbo, a 44 would be a nice upgrade. Check with Jack on that though, you may need bigger. (I just happen to have a very slightly used TE-44,, if you are interested.) A higher stall converter would really liven up the car, and then probably an alcohol injection kit. With that, a decent rebuild, and a nice tune, you should be able to hit your goals.

Brian Keep it shiny side up, but show them your dirty side once in a while. 11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s! 11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance. |
