back from PINKS
arrived at MIR 8o friday morning, got out of tech around 3:00, first pass temp was 90 degrees wheels spinning 1st & 2nd. ran a lame 12.0 (ugh) second pass came around 9:00 pm still hot spun 1st than started bouncing off the rev limiter.pulled a crappy 11.70 made it back to the motel at 1:30. Next day arrived at the track at 7:30am rain comming Rich changes format one pass no tree drop right to an arm drop and you must run faster than your best pass on friday to stay in. first group of cars stage about 20 run than the rain comes 2hr down than another 2hr to dry and prep the track, cars are called back another 30 run, rain comes back another 4hr delay. My turn comes around 8:00 pm over boost at the line and pushed through the lights. temp was in upper 80s pulled a lousey11.50 .at 10:00 Rich picks 9.0 class wont tell who won.but it was some good raceing had a good time. made some new friends, local boys real good people. the car drove up on the trailer so all is good to race another day.
