Default i have a weird problem

OK guys, here is the crazy problem that i have.for the most part my 87 gn is mostly stock with miner bolt ons.just this week end my cam sensor and maf sensor went out so i ended up replacing both the same day.after installing the sensor i went for a test drive to make sure that everything was ok.BUT ended up finding a other problem.HOW can i explain it,lets try this
turbo t49 new
watsegate new
hoses and clamps new
boost line new
wastegate solenoid new
gn has 36,000 plus miles on it
when going into wot my boost gauge reads that i am at 21 psi which i have it always set at 17psi at the same time that im in wot my gn feels like theirs no turbo in the car, doest move hard at all, very very very slow.it feels like the turbo isnt kicking in .i can hear the turbo spinning and making a very loud noise like air or something but thats when im into the gas.i check all the hoses and they appear to be good my gauge shows that i have vacuum too

once again gn boost to 21psi but moves slow like if their wasnt a turbo in the car

Youch... now thats interesting..... I think we need to know some timetables... like was it running fine before installing the turbo and other upgrades, did you do anything just before the problems started... you can't be at 21lbs of boost and in vacumn at the same time...

Hey jack, all the small upgrades have been done over the past 5 years or so,the car has always ran perfect in every way possible, drives like its new
just 21 years old.the only reason that i ended up replacing the turbo on the car was due to the old one was leaking oil into the intercooler and exhuast system.the turbo was replace with the other parts that i had mention above about a month & 1/2 ago. the car ran perfect till friday night thats when the cam sensor went out on me.all work was done by my mechanic which has worked on a hand full of gn's and syclones in the pass.I was told that it could be my toque converter that can cause this to happen.
my gn is usually use to go to car show.i normally just cruise the car not running it hard

It sounds like your TC lock up solenoid is not allowing your clutch to unlock. Check the wiring and solenoid for proper operation. Does you GN stutter at all?

That was going to be my question. You beat me to it.
Try starting the car and then unlugging the cam sensor, and see if it runs any better. In case you don't know, you can run the car without the cam sensor. It will throw a code and the SES light will be on, but it should run fine, even better if it isn't adjusted properly. BUT, if it stalls, you can't restart it until you plug it back in.

What kind of MAF. Are you sure that one is good? Is it a stocker?

11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s!
11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.

Is the MAF good ? Maybe the calibration is out to lunch @ WOT. I would start the car disconnect the cam sensor (While running) and take it for another run. If you shut the car off you will need to plug the cam sensor back in to restart.

i think i set the cam sensor right this is the second time it has gone out on me in a couple of years. And yes im using the casper cam tool to set it.i am using the original ac delco maf sensor that came with the car as a spare.it is a new part not used.
i also used a volt meter to check to make sure it was set properly.start out at 7 volt turn it alittle then volt meter reads 0.Some time tonight im going to start her up and disconnect to cam sensor to see what happens, and take her for a spin
