Default GM Turbo 6 Meet---October 17th-19th

Folks this is gonna be a big one. We would like to thank Richard Clark and Dennis Kirban for working together with us to help make this event as successful as possible. We have a 3 day event planned for the weekend of October 17th - 19th (Friday thru Sunday) and you don't want to miss this.

Schedule of Events
Friday
There will be a FREE Test-N-Tune at Piedmont Dragway with gates opening at 4pm and time runs starting at 5pm going until 9pm. This track time is open to ANY turbo regal, SY/TY, TTA, or any other Buick turbo V6 powered vehicle. This is a great time to meet new folks and fellowship with old and new friends.

Saturday
We will be meeting once again at Richard Clarks shop in Burlington, NC with a starting time of 10am - until. There will be FREE FOOD for all folks who attend this event (BBQ chicken, pig pickin, potatoes, cole slaw, sweet tea, etc...) We MUST have a headcount to be sure that everyone will have plenty of food. There will be FREE dyno time (mustang dyno) for anyone who wants to see how much power that your turbo v6 will make. Richards shop is equipped with all kinds of equipment if you need your powermaster tested, fuel injectors tested and flowed, buick v6 cylinder head bench, converter flushing, etc... The best part is that we were able to have some very special guests that have agreed to come and join us for a casual tech session that anyone can ask questions about their particular field in the buick community.

Sunday
We will be back to Richards Shop from 10am - 4pm for anyone that wants to stay the weekend and joins us for what we believe with be a fantastic event at with the individuals joining us for the tech session will rival that of any large Buick races anywhere in the country. There will be further information regarding a host hotel with a discount given specifically for this event. We hope everyone can join us in October here in NC for the cool fall weather. For anyone staying in hotels we will give a free welcome pack to show you all what Burlington NC has to offer (Restaurants, Shopping, Entertainment, etc...). We hope to make this an absolute fantastic time and hope to have another meeting sometime in the future. Again we would like to thank Richard Clark and Dennis Kirban for helping to make this event the largest on the east coast this side of the Nats.

We are pleased to announce that we have added another person to the list of special guests that will be in attendance in October. We would like to thank Jack Cotton from Cottons Performance as he will be in attendance to assist with questions regarding engine management as well as bringing his vast knowledge of Buicks with him to NC for the meet. Jack also said that he might just be giving something away at the meet to a lucky participant, stay tuned for details!! Once again thank you Jack for your support and for what you help bring to the buick community!! As it stands these are the folks coming to join us:

Jack Cotton - Cottons Performance - Engine Management
Dan Strezo - DLS Engine - Engines

Is this replacing the Cecil County event, or is that still on? I couldn't find any dates/info on it.

11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s!
11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.
