Default Rearend gears?

I know i have 342's in my 87 GN.But i want to know if i can run 373's?

Sure.
I wouldn't. I don't know how fast you are, but the 3.42s are used more than the 3.73s. They'll keep you from having to use OD in the quarter.

11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.

I am going to keep the 342's.But i want to go faster in the 1/4 mile.

Need to know what your combo is now and your best ET/MPH now, how fast you want to go, then we can suggest what your best alternatives are to get there.
