Now the umpire is after him. He got ejected yesterday for being Manny!

I might be a little sympathetic to Manny if he would run to first after hitting the ball instead of waiting to see if it goes over, then when he realizes it hasn't he starts jogging. But then again, that's just Manny being Manny. At least that is what I am always told. He isn't concerned with getting bases or runs unless he can do it in one hit. Well, that's just how I see it.

Actually, Manny got in good shape in the off season. He is noticably quicker around the basis this season, and is a bit quiker heading to 1st. I must admit, I love it when Manny points 10 fingers to the back wall and poses ( even though it costs us some time ).

If he costs us just once, then he should get a boot to the head, and I've seen him cost us a few times. I'll have to pay attention to him this year to see if he has actually quickened the pace. If he still gets picked on, too bad for him. He's been earning that for a while.

Manny is still A1 in my book, and any team would be greatful to have him. Although he is a bone head at times, he gives way more to the team than he could ever take. He's the clutch at the bottom of the 9th with 2 out when we're down by a run or 2. He handles pressure well, and that's what he's paid to do. Sorry for rambling on .

Hehe yep Once he is In Yankee pin stripes, Manny will be much faster. Gotta figure the hair cut alone will speed things up....
