Sorry about that. I was trying to answer in a hurry. It sounds like maybe your Torque Converter is staying locked.
TCC is your Torque Converter Clutch solenoid. It is located near the front of the tranny (I think, I always see it when I am lying underneath the car). You have to pull the pan to get to it. You remove two nuts/bolts, and it slides right out. You just have to splice the wires from the new one, and put it in and button up the pan. Does it act as if it is going to stall when you come to a stop? If you just tap the gas when driving, does it act like a stick, and respond with jerkiness? Are the downshifts harsh? Have you tried calling the guys that built it to see what they think?

Not sure on the price. Probably not too expensive.
Any autoparts store should have it.

Cool. As long as your tranny guy is close. Otherwise, you're probably better off doing it yourself.

The Trans Guy Is About 350 Miles Away. Is It Ok To Drive It That Far With The Tcc Solenoid Unpluged?

Sure, but unless he is paying for gas, then just drop the pan and do it yourself.
