Default Bowling Green Updates

As many already know, I was not able to do BG this year. Responsibility at the shop played a big part in my decision to skip it this year. I wanted to go very badly..... oh well, next year. My curiosity is on edge all the time so I am periodically on the phone with some of my boys down there. I will try to post what I can for info, anyone else with any info are welcome to share.

Wed was pretty much a rainout, my boy Sully made his first abbreviated pass on his new motor, not much to say there except, he drove it back to the pits with a recording to build on. They were able to clean up the track in the afternoon and get a few passes in. I got a call from Dick K., TSM racer extraordinare...... he made a pass Tues and had a fuel issue, we were able to red label him a new pump for this morning.. a little excitement there. I heard Dave Fiscus ran pretty good tues, 8.90's off the trailer. Don Cruz had a wild first ride tues off the trailer and is looking to make some big runs.... My good friend Derrick, the Dent fix guy... is there and pulling dents as well as getting his white Ttype ready for a run at the 9 second club.. Thats about it.... wait.. news flash!!!! Talking with Ted H. from Epitome Exclusives, he is there and on the phone with me... telling me Kenny Duttweiller is there and helping John Gallina and Len from Las Vegas make a 6 second run... thats it for now, hope Ted and a few guys can post from down there....

Weather here is bad all day today, but the 2 main days, tomorrow and Saturday are supposed to be great. If anyone is sitting on the fence about making the trip, it should be good. Someone here went 8.95 on a stock block, but I don't know if that was prior to getting here or not. I'll post again when I have something new.

I saw Dick K. go 9.27 or 9.29 Wed.

I made a easy pass and went 10.41@130 on 16 lbs boost leaving like a girl and short shifting.

I heard Jason White went 9.55.

Len Freeman is trying to get that car down the track but the track does not seem to be able to handle the HP they are making.

I will try and update more tonight if we get some runs in.

Sully

I know this is off subject, but you guys in BG have the best shot while your down there. What's the chance you can find me a real nice pass rear wheelwell molding for my GN? I would be so thankful. Brian

As most already know, yesterday was a rainout.... today and tomorrow are supposed to be beautiful days.... we'll see. I'm waiting to hear from Sully now, I sent him a new turbo for delivery today, that should get him rolling pretty good and up on boost quicker with the new Boosted Turbo Technology we are using with our Turbonetic turbos.. I hear Bennie and Jr are with Sully now and performing guard duty over the new Top Secret turbo technology. Not to mention they are sure to be a big part of Sullys pit crew.. I spoke with Jim Carswell yesterday, from the pits of Len Freeman, lots of work going on there with Kenny Duttweiller helping Len and John Gallina get that car down the track in record fashion. Also heard Billy T was there and having some trouble with his new trans and in other areas..... what a surprise.. wonder if he bought his girlfriend a ticket to BG...

Allright, your going have to pm me with what the secret turbo is! It wouldn't happen to be black with a ceramic coated exhaust housing would it?
