Default Piedmont Dragway Update

Jack ran today at Piedmont Dragway...it is an eighth mile track...his first pass

5.75 @ 124

second pass....5.76 @ 126

I heard that both JR and Benny also made some great passes...and Sully too!

It's nice to see the Pumpkin running strong! Just don't take your eyes off it, or one of 'dem suddun folk might carve dat up for Hallaween. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Speaking of pumpkin, there's frost on mine this morning!

Nice! Good to hear that RPE motor is running strong! That 5.76 @126 in the eighth would have been an 8.99 @ 156 in the quater!

Lorrie, are they racing today too?

We already knew that.
Lorrie, tell him to smile. He doesn't look happy without you there by his side.

11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s!
11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.

Thanks Guys.. what an awsome time we had. Richard Clark is a first class Buick enthusiast, he was the man behind the total sponsorship of this weekend event. ClintAdkins organized it, doing a fabulous job I must say. Thanks to all that participated in this one of a kind show of Buick comaraderie!! I could write a book about Richard Clarks "play room", 2 metal buildings, one 4,000 square feet and the other about 8,000 filled with new and used parts.. all those stock Buick cranks.. I found them.. bumper fillers... you name it, crate motors... he got em all !!!! unbelievable. I took some pics, I'll try to post this week..

Sounds like Richard ought to bail out GM. It appears he has more money!
