Default Exhaust housing TA49

I'm looking for an exhaust housing for a TA49 turbo. Right now I have a Precision .85 on it, which is too much for a stock D5 converter. Can you still buy a Precision or Garrett .63 housing for the TA49?

Thanks in advance,

Brian Harper

Brian, the difficult part is who made the turbo and what exactly is the turbine wheel. The exhaust housing can certainly be changed, but I think sending it in for proper fitment is the best idea. Of course there is an alternative..... sell it, trade it or put it on the shelf. If it is an older turbo, quite often the turbine housing doesnot want to come off. I've seen good turbos get destroyed trying to replace the exhaust housing. I am offering the new Turbonetic High Flow Ball Bearing turbo at a great price, $995.00, that's a $1300.00 turbo. Should work great with a stock convertor. I don't mean to push anything here, just giving you options.....
