Default So close to 10.99

I ran my best ever 1/8 and 1/4 mile and I was so close to a 10.99 but never got it because of my lousy 60' times. My launching kept me from a 10 second run.

My best two runs were:
1.706
4.619
7.080
99.79
11.010
124.32

1.776
4.681
7.131
100.34
11.031
125.35

My worst of the six runs was:
2.198
5.245
7.728
99.14
11.668
124.14

As you can see, I need to launch better.

Boost = 26-27
Knock = 0
AFR = high 10s
TCC lock @ 95
Fuel = about 100 octane (93+110) with methanol injection

Combo: 87 GN with TE-61/PTE .63 housing; mildly ported stock heads; Erson 208 cam; Speed Pro forged pistons; rebuilt transmission and PTS 3,200 converter; MSD 50#; CAS V-4; 3" DP; ATR 2.5" SS exhaust; 62 JJ TB/stock plenum; RJC power plate; Gen II w/LS-1 MAF; Pete Tomka cold air system; SMC progressive alcohol; Walbro 340; Hoosier QTP (27"); and Extender 100 chip with 26/22 timing.

Great numbers...... now all you need is a respectable 60ft. in the 1.50-1.59 range and you will easily make it a 10 second run. The 124mph may drop a mile or 2 but, you are capable of a 10.70...something.. What do you have for suspension and tires and are you spinning.. or coming out of the hole soft...

Thanks Jack. I have boxed lcr's (BMR?), airbag on ps (10#), original stock springs (53,000 miles), ATR sway bar and Bilstein shocks. I was running my 27" Hoosier QTP because I have worn out my MT ET Street drag radials. With the MT I could turn 1.5x 60' but not with the QTP. The tires were moving on the rim...no tubes or screws. The MT drag radials are on national back order, so I just have to wait to get another set. I should be in the 10s with those tires.

Yep, right on, sounds like you definitely have a grasp on it. No doubt, the MT should do the trick, good luck!!
