Default E85 (85% Ethanol/15% Gas)..105 Octane!

Jack,
I understand that the XFI has the capability to change the fuel and ignition maps depending on the fuel in the car. All you need is a GM fuel sensor. Can you get the GM P/N for the fuel sensor from FAST for us?
Conrad

ps...E85 is 105 octane and will cool the inlet charge just like methanol does in the alcohol injection systems. E85 does require 30% MORE fuel so pump/FPR/lines/injectors have to be capable of handling 30% more flow than required for gasoline!

I have talked with 2 engineers at FAST and have been told they are working on a kit that would include a Siemens sensor and wiring harness. They are indicating that there had been some calibration problems with the GM sensor. I should have additional info in 2-3 weeks.
