Is this a drop in part or does it need any thing done to it or to the engine?

No, it requires an SFI flywheel and balancer. The good stuff costs about $650, plus you will have to have the crank balanced at about another $200.... not cheap to use one of these cranks.... oh ya and not to mention the cranks typically require cleaning and or cutting the journals to get em right... unless you are looking to make biig HP, stock crank is fine. Guys make the mistake of thinking the steel cranks are bullet proof..... detonate or lean it out and you still hurt it...

Yes it fits but is not balanced for it..
