the Hi-Tech lock-up prod ID 12001 - from the picture it looks like a filter a spring and something else. Does this operate the same as the OEM unit? is it different? does the kit come with a TCC switch?

it is just a shift kit for a stock tranny to help inprove shifting. It won't fix a tired trans and does not come with a TCC switch.
