Default A Big Congrats to Claude and Martin!!

It's seems our good northern friends went to the track this past weekend and set personal best times with their cars. I don't have the exact times but Claude told me he ran somewhere in the 9.70 range and Martin ran somewhere in the 9.40 range. I hope they can post up more details for us!!!

Congratulation to my good friends!!!

Thumbs up Here's what happened ---->

Jack, last Sunday evening (Oct 3rd), Martin and myself, along with a few other Buick and Mustang buddies went to Napierville for some testing and tuning but mostly to have fun, and boy, did we have a great time!

The weather was cool (cold) and we both ran great times...Here's the detail below:

1st. run (a lone run) with 21 # of boost:

CLAUDE
0.17 -------reaction
6.32 --------1/8 et
9.93 --------1/4 et
135.61 ----M.P.H.

Things were looking good and I told Martin that it would be fun to run together and give our friends a good show, so we both set our boost at 26 # and here's what happened:

MARTIN <----------------> CLAUDE
0.09 --------reaction--------- 0.01
1.40 -----------60 ft ---------- 1.42
6.06 ----------1/8 et --------- 6.22
9.49 ----------1/4 et --------- 9.73
142.72 -----M.P.H. --------- 139.79

This was our best run for BOTH of us!......I had a little better reaction time off the line and jumped ahead of Martin, but he had more power and it didn't take long that he already passed me by the 1/8 th!
We let the cars cool down for about an hour and went back for one more run, but we switched lanes:

CLAUDE <---------------->MARTIN
-0.21 --------reaction ------- 0.24
1.40 ----------- 60 ft --------- 1.78
6.19 ----------1/8 et --------- 6.51
9.70 ----------1/4 et --------- 9.95
139.35 -----M.P.H. --------- 142.62

For me, this was my best run ever, beating my previous run (9.70) even if I red lighted...
For some reason, Martin spun a lot (1.78 60 ft.), but he still ran a great 142 M.P.H.
We decided that was enough for that evening, it was getting cold and we were hungry, so we left VERY happy with our results and we indeeed achieved our goal to have fun!

Thanks for reading...

Claude.

Hey Claude. Been a trying summer for me. Finalizing my divorce, and it's not going quickly or easily. GN and my buick friends have been on the back burner....which bothers me alot. Hope next summer to get back into the game. Will see how I fair with the judge ($$$). Miss everyone
