CPT66 Turbo
Hi Jack,
PLease see my signature. Looking into the CPT66 Turbo. My current turbo is stock. Never been on track, but plan to eventually go one of these day. Want a Turbo that I know will perform when I need it. Some say TA 49 as intermediate upgrade, but I want to do a final upgrade to CPT66. Got my transmission upgraded by TRW. I was suppose to get a higher stall converter but I don't know to confirm what I got so that CPT66 it meets the CPT requirements. Can you also give advise to what else I'll need in regards to the different options with the CPT66. Definitely want to go with the Ceramic Ball Bearing. By the way. I drive the car at least once a week to work 60 miles, if that has any value to my decisions. If I plan to go the track, I will get higher octane fuel. Thanks in advance.

Virgil,
I don't recommend the 66 without heads, cam and at least a 32-3400 stall converter. I would recommend our 61 BB turbo for your present application...

How do I check for stall? What else will I need?
Hi Jack,
Thanks for the feedback. How do I check which stall I have? Any other items I should get when I upgrade the Turbo? Thx, Virgil
