Default measurement?

what is the measurement you like to see from the outside of the frame to the inside of a rolled fender? Preatty cool forum here. I read about your shop a few years a go on GM High tech. Thanks for any help.

Well, the simple answer is: enough to fit your tire. Yeah, I know, not very helpful. Are you trying to figure out the biggest tire that you can fit, or do you already have a tire size in mind and want to know if they will fit, or do you already know that they don't fit and want to know what you have to do to make them fit?

11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s!
11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.

I have been told that a 315 would fit.but I have no measurement to go off of and right now I have no axle to see how they fit. What size do you guys shoot for?

I'am running 325 MT on a 10" rim with a 5" back space after a Cotton's notch and still have an inch space between the tire and frame.
