Best Turbo?
Jack,
I have to replace my turbo, it has about 1/8" shaft play side to side and will not build more than 5 pounds of boost. What would be the best turbo for my combo? I have the following upgrades; 60lb Motron Injectors Hi-Flow Fuel pump (Hot Wired) 70mm TB Ram Air 3" Terry Houston Downpipe 3" CAT 2.5" Dual Straight Pipes Full Throttle Extender Extreme Chip MAF Tranlator 3.5 MAF Thanks in advance, Curt

Lot of info, but not enough. What do you do with the car? Is it just a regular driver? Do you race it sometimes, or alot?
What do you have for a torque converter? What's your budget? If you have a lower stall converter, then you cannot go too big without having to upgrade to a higher stall. Unless, you go with the ball bearing option. With that said, I would go with something like a 66 ball bearing. It would be best to give Jack a call. He will undoubtedly have a few more questions, and some better insight into what would fit your requirements and budget.

Brian Keep it shiny side up, but show them your dirty side once in a while. 11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s! 11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.

Just for street use. I would like to have the ceramic ball bearing and what ever else for super quick spool up and keep streetability, although I do want to take it to the track sometime just to see what it can do.
I've got a PATC Raptor Trans with 2800 stall converter. Any guess what HP/Torque is achieveable with my combo and whatever Turbo you think is a good match?
