Default Turbo question

Hi I'm thinking about an upgrade for my old 6131, it spools a little slow for the street.
I did manage an 11.88 at 117 mph at 26psi on my lone trip to the track 2.00 short time I could not get the launch right. My best short time was a 1.78 with drag radials but I cavitated my fuel and had to let off still managed a 12.40.

60lb injectors with Turbo Tweak Chip
Turbonetics CPT 61 BB
CAS V4 Stretch Intercooler
Cobbled together Alcohol Injection
4 inch MAF pipe with integral sensor and translator
3600 stall converter (feels more like 3000)
Mild ported heads.

lots of fun with a little 6 banger!

Hi Larry, sorry for the slow response... chasing my tail over here. By the looks of your combo, one of the new 64 billet wheel ball bearing turbos would be a real nice upgrade. You could also try the billet wheel 62-65 BB..... also

Thanks for the reply Jack, I see Gerry with a G has a 61 65 BB in the used parts how would that be compared to what I have now?

Finally got to road test my new (to me) turbonetics turbo, man does this thing come on fast!

What would be the 61 65s sweet spot for boost? I'm only at 15lbs right now until I can put some better gas in it. But I can see this thing is going to be a beast at above 20 lbs. Wonder whats going to break next

Good thing I got the old turbo out, up and down play it will contact the housing, it hadn't done it yet driving but I'm sure it wasn't far off.
