Question Co2 boost control

Where does the Co2 line hook up too? The the plastic line provided in the kit is larger (1/4 nylon line) than the rest of the lines that are hooked up to the boost controller solenoids and wastegate. Should I get a smaller diameter quick disconnect fitting for the gauges? Or get a larger diameter quick disconnect for where ever the line gets hooked up into? Didn't know if the diameter of the hose made a difference with the way the kit would operate.
i.e. "If the hose is too small, it wouldn't hold pressure like it would with the provided larger hose." What pressure should the gauge be reading when filled and in use?
