Question low budget engine rebuild ?????????

Going to do a budget rebuild the target is 11.99's at least once.

The block that I am going to use is an 84-85 block, I already have it collecting dust in the garage plus it would reduce my down time.
BTW How do these blocks (84-85) hold up?
Back to my rebuild
1-30 over because it needs it -I have a set of used 30 over pistons that I picked up from Cotton’s about A year or two ago.
2-Which main bearings should I use (can you please post part #’s)?
3-Which piston rings should I use?
4Should I go with a roller cam? I want it reliable
Or
5-Would a reg. cam work and last?
The heads will be done after I am done with the Short block so I am not even thinking about them now.

Thanks for the help guys.
David

Hope that helps, fact is we should have everything you need in stock, if you have a Napa stock nearby, you should be able to just order your rings and bearings there, just make sure you order for a vin 7 86-87 turbo GN.

Happy Holidays,

Turbo Buick and Budget should never be used in the same sentence

Good Luck
