Question How long can race gas sit?

I have 5 gallons of 116 cam2 sitting at my shop. It has been in a sealed jug now since last march. I haven't used cam2 since i've had the car running. Should I just get rid of it? Anyone got any thoughts?

I found this on a Cam2 dealer site.....

Q. Can I store my fuel through the winter?
A. Race fuel has a very good shelf life. It is however, very sensitive to light, so it should not be stored in clear containers. Fuel can be stored for extended periods of time as long as it is in an air tight container. Race fuel jugs are not good for long-term storage; if you are going to store your fuel for the winter, use a steel drum and keep it inside.

Throw it in the motorhome!!!!! Or we can use it for the golfcart.. I'll bump the timing...

Thanks! I didn't even think of looking there. Of course it is in a fuel jug, and it is clear! Oh well, I will bring it when we meet up next at the track. We can throw it in golf cart then. It'll just sit in the motor home over the winter, at least you can use it in the cart. It's smells ok and looks ok. But I guess for racing purposes it's better to be safe then sorry. Especially with my setup!

If you save if for next year, just make sure that you burn that first, and only use it for getting a baseline or for basic tuning. When you get everything running smoothly, and want to turn up the wick, then use new fuel.

11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s!
11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.
