Your sig looks great for a daily cruiser. I don't see a fuel pump ugrade listed, so that's is something you should seriously consider. I would also consider a torque convertor upgrade as money allows. Hope all works out for you. BTW, who is the mechanic?

My goal is have the headers, crossover pipe and down pipe heat coated painted and install perfomance underdrive pulleys, roller rocker arms and double timing chain. If needed will replace piston but will try and save as much as possible
also will be porting and polishing out the intake manifold and the stock 90 elbow to the turbo downpipe. im hoping this combo will bring me into the to high 12's

I would let him give the car a look over... Then plan
Not sure what you heard about walbro fuel pumps. There is a good possibility the 21 yr old fuel sock may be collasping under acceleration. I would also consider new valve springs (again the age thing)

I would lean away from the underdrive pullies. You don't want to slow the alternator or waterpump down on these cars.

Talking no need 4 a rebuild motor at this time

OK guys,i got great news.I dont need to rebuild the motor at this time.it appears that my 2 GM AC DELCO OEM MAF SENSOR where out of wack after
a couple of hundred mile on it.that was what was causing my gn to run like a turd.Evan with 17 psi just slow.did install my buddies LT1 maf sensor w translator and sh*t she came out of the hole smoking the tires just the way she use to be. i droped the oil pan and all is good their too.as far as the weird
noise that was coming from the engine bay,it was the cap to the cam sensor.ALSO INSTALLED A SCANMASTER TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE TO KEEP A EYE ON THINKS
