I really, really missed being there. It was the first E-Town Labor Day race I've missed. My hope is to not miss anymore! While Saturday sounds like it was pretty hectic....Sunday ended up being a very special day for everyone.
Thank you to everyone who helped Jack, Brian, and Taylor. Looking forward to seeing you at Cecil County.

Thumbs up E-town

Hey you guys, I am sorry I missed out on bringing the Coffee (CrUM) cake to the track. With moving this past weekend, the bakery was closed (the nerve of some people) at 1:30am on Sunday morning, when I finished the last load of crap!

I really had a lot of fun coming down to see everyone at the camp.

And me too, putting some screen names to the faces, even though I might have called one person the wrong name, sorry Mike. And congrats on the runs for the license.

Wagon, I have to contact you about the needed parts, since I found two.

Jack, I will call you when I get a chance.

Missed Lorrie too, hope things are going better.

Dom

Take care and hope to see you again at the races!...

Thanks Claude! It was an awesome weekend and it made it even more special that you were all there to share it with! It's just amazing that our cars bring us all together the way they do. I love being apart of the "Cotton Buick community"! We hope to see you, your girlfriend, son and his girlfriend and Martain at the races soon! (Boy that was a mouthful!)

Dom, that's ok, and thanks! I think you got the wrong info from someone!
We hope to see you guys at Island Dragway! That will be our next stop I think. Hopefully we'll have the r/v there too.

Well, I'm sure those of you that saw the damage that I inflicted, and the ones that have heard about it might be a little curious about what my next move is going to be.
Well, you'll all be happy to know that I have taken car of the problem. I fixed it on Monday. After only a few hours sleep, I went right out to the trailer, got the little bugger out and got to fixin. It is all set. Not as good as before, but close. I even tested it, and it works great. Although the burner was a little smaller than the one that I took out, the universal burner works just fine for what I need it for. I grilled up about 8 pounds of animal flesh and a half dozen ear of corn just to work the bugs out. (And there were only 4 of us eating. Now if only fixing the car was going to be this easy. I will start wrenching on that bad boy real soon. And people thought it was quick for a wagon, just wait until we are done with this round of parts. I'll post up carnage pictures once I get some of the stuff out.

11.3@123mph on 195/75/14" whitewalls. Yes, 195s!
11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.

Thumbs up NHRA Competition License!

I just got and e-mail from the NHRA! They sent me my temporary competition #. I didn't think they were going to send it to me that fast. I have that for a month until they mail me my card. Now I'm ready to let her rip! Hmmmm, a nice cool night, 30-32 psi!
