Default Roller Cam Kit

Iam wondering about valve train noise with a roller cam kit? I have read that some people experienced noise and others haven't. Why is this? Does brand or grind play a factor? thanks Anthony

Here's my experience. I believe it has to do with variances in the lifter bores. I have installed the same cam/lifter combo into different blocks, and have had much different noise levels. Granted, I am not the final word in all things Buick.

I don't believe either plays a part...... valve geometry, plays a big part. I currently have a roller in the shop, we just fired it and the valve train noise is terrible... so far, looks like the lifters are just bleeding down..... we are investigating it as I type this...
