David,
The best way is to get a compression tester. Anyone with a Turbo Regal should have one. I think I have two. Anyway, that is your best way to test. If it is real bad, then you may be able to start the car, shut it down before it gets too hot and yank a plug and see some water/antifreeze on the plug. If it is smoking white real bad, and your antifreeze level is dropping then you probably have a bad head gasket. Also, check the oil for that horrible milk shake look.

11.2 on the big giant slicks. What's the point? Maybe I'll go back to the whitewalls. They are lighter and have less rolling resistance.
