Thanks Claude, it was the best ride, pretty straight for a change. I felt like Martin the 1st run, all over the track. On the second run the car in front of me oiled down the whole track so they prepped the heck out of it. I was a little leary at first but after watching the crew prep and treat it with the VHT, I felt good about it. After the run, I realized we should have turned the wick up as we had taken a lot of power out of the launch and the 1st 2 seconds of the run..
I gotta thank my wife Lorrie and Brian for all their support and hard work to get me down the track.
Oh ya, on Sunday, I lost 2nd gear in the trans the 1st pass, so we thought we'd try a 1-3 shift... I'll never do that again!!!
