the line supplied can basically be used only one way, attach the short side of the line to the master, the other end to the line lock, rebend the original line around the back side of the line lock ...... as for the button, install where ever you are comfortable. It always seemed as though everyone wanted a different location for the button so we leave that up to you. If you want, you can give me a call at the shop and I will be happy to assist.
