I had a great time at Reynolds. It is a fun, relaxed event and it is always good to see old friends and meet new ones.

So here is the TSM rundown.

Qualifing.

Highlights:

I was the 3rd car in line so I got to watch the 1st two go. Don Cruz goes up and runs a 9.026 @150.11 setting a new TSM record. Dick Kereny goes up next and goes 9.005@150.13 taking record back. Dick blew a headgasket on his run and the crew immediately goes to work pulling the head to fix it. In round 2 Don does a monster wheel stand and carries the front tires past the 330' then has to do a remarkable job of driving to keep it out of the wall. I am guessing he shifted 1-2 and maybe 2-3 with front tires in the air.

Ladder:

So here is the final qualifing ladder:
1. Dick Kereny - 9.005@150.13
2. Don Cruz - 9.026@150.11
3. Jason White - 9.399@144.13
4. Steve Sullivan - 9.564@140.33
5. Cliff Bryan - 9.822@136.17
6. Jeff Rodick - 9.914@136.15
7. Sean Hayes - 10.437@129.38
8. JD Korenzo - 10.857@125.40

Round 1:

Korenzo defeats Kereny (Kereny's crew could not get it back together in time)
Sullivan defeats Bryan
Hayes defeats Cruz (Don was unable to make the call for a mechanical reason)
White defeats Rodick

Round 2:

Sullivan defeats Korenzo
White defeats Hayes

Finals

Sullivan defeats White (Jason timed out)

Rematch for Bragging rights

White defeats Sullivan (Jason treed the crap out of me)

Overall it was a great time. I decided to split the prize money evenly so thanks to the sponsors; Adam Calcote - R.R. Management and Outfitting, Jack Cotton - Cotton's Performance, and Tom Allen - Champion Racing Heads; we were able to split $1000!! Jason and I finished Winner/Runner up couple years ago and I don't think we got anything so a Special Thanks to Jack Cotton for getting sponsors and giving us something to race for.
