Met MARTIN yesterday in Florida.
 

I'm on vacation right now in Florida with my girlfriend Claude :p for three weeks and just got here yesterday and quickly got in contact with my good friend MARTIN!...We met and had a good meal at Longhorn's and after that, he showed me the new wheels he bought for his GN (real nice!). Then, we went to his appartment and talked for a while before going back to our hotel. We also agreed to go to Palm Beach Raceway Saturday in two weeks (probably the 21st.) to try out his GN...He just installed a new driveshaft and billet rear axle yoke ('cause he busted the stock piece...) and we'll see how it holds up! I'll keep you posted!...

Brian, it's done!... I got myself a Nikon Coolpix S700, 2GB memory card, 12.1 megapixels = $169. I think that I got a pretty good deal...With that much megapixels, you'll able to see every little detail of Martin's car!...;) I'll tell Martin he better do everything right as everyone (including Jack ''da man'') will see if he screws up! :D

Martin's going FAST!!!
 

Martin went to Palm Beach Friday evening and ran a personal best of 9.941 @135.81, with a 60ft. of 1.44 followed by another 9.946 @ 135.81, with a 60ft. of 1.47 ! Talk about constincency!...It was also the first time he ran in the 9's (finally!) :D
On Saturday, the event got rained out, but on Sunday I went with him to the track, but for some reason, they were only on an 1/8th of a mile on that day. Martin went a best of 6.14 @ 111.36, BUT with a 60ft. of 1.38! :eek:...That would've been a great run if it had been on a ¼ mile!
He won the first two rounds of eliminations, but unfortunately, things started to go bad on the third as one of the fittings on the transmission cooler suddenly came off, spilling oil everywhere and of course, ending Martin's day as he was driving through the oil forcing him to lift his foot...:rolleyes:
So back in the pit, we put the crippled GN on his trailer and brought the car at his garage where I helped Martin to unload it and, again, more bad luck as the right front tire was punctured while unloading on a sharp piece of angle iron from the trailer...:mad:
Oh well, I guess that's part of racing...:rolleyes:...But looking back at it, Martin and I still had a some fun and a great day and I'm very happy for him that he got into the 9's after a lot of hard work by him and the whole crew at Cotton's!...

Wow! Congrats Martin! How did it feel to run the number!?!? That third pass was going to be nasty with a 6.14 and 111.36 in the 8th, 9.5X @ 140???:eek: What have you done since last time you were out?

Claude, glad you were there to witness it, thanks for the update, I always love to hear a Cotton's customer running good down the track!:D Did you happen to get any pics?

23 psi, nice!:D Sounds like your really dialin' that bad boy in! Are you guys, (yourself, Claude and his troops:))going to go to Lebanon Valley, Memorial day weekend for Musclepalooza? May 23-24th? Would be awesome if we can all get together for that.

Ok, for the pictures, go to Photobucket.com. Make up a user name and password. Save the pictures to your computer. Then sign in and hit the choose files button to add pictures to your album. A box will come up to pick where on your computer the pictures are that you want to add to your album. Go to where ever you saved the pictures and select the picture or multiple pictures with the "bulk loader". once you slect the picture or pictures they will automatically download into your Photobucket album. Then once the pictures are in you Photobucket album, move the arrow over the picture you want to post and a drop down window will appear below it. Right click and copy the "IMG Code". Then go to post a reply to a thread and paste the link in the Message box. Click the Preview Post button to see if the link works, it should.

I hope this helps. I tried to be as thorough as I could!:)

Funny guys:p I done my first qualification pass on the class 6:50 and the 2nd on bracket .They ask witch class i race,i anser the class who could challenge me,bracket with dragster!:D:D:D
