Mounting Netbook for XFI

Not new, just new to me. Works great at the track and on the street.

Details? I have a netbook also. It was one of the best investments for the car. I'd like to make a mount also. What did you use for supports, and how did you attach it? Thanks in advance.

Mounting Netbook for XFI

Using the top two bolts on the a/c control box, I bent two braces around the top of the dash and drilled holes into the braces and the back of the netbook (in a safe spot). I also had to slightly modify (cut) the a/c stereo faceplate to fit the braces.

Clear as mud...?

Cool. Thanks. Is it easily removable, or do you have to unbolt the brackets?

Until I can figure out a quick release, I have to unbolt from a/c screws under radio cover.

i have the acer one 8" screen and mounting was simple

piece of 10" velcro across radio pod top and on underside of laptop and small bracket i made from some 1.5" wide 1/16 flat stock that is pushed in above the vent (no screws)

takes only a second to pull it from the car or to install and so far it has shown no signs of moving even with a t-brake launch
