That sounds like a plan ... I didn't make it last year but i'll be there this year... now should I bring the Buick or the Chevy ?

Well, I'm happy I started to get ready for Memorial day weekend early!

The Dodge left front caliper locked up solid on me, lost the tail pipe too.
Just changed both front calipers and installed a new 4 inch MBRP exhaust (down pipe back) last night with my brother in-law in the rain, on our backs. Fantastic!

The GN, took the header off the passanger side and brought to my shop and had it welded up. It was cracked in 4 spots!
Gee, I wonder why the boost was screwy!

Still have to run it, get the antifreeze out of it, change the thermostat, plugs, oil and I should be good to go!

Next we gotta get the Motorhome cleaned up and ready to go.
Got the generator fixed at the end of last season....

Nice to see your focusing on the Buick! gotta love Spring....So much to do, so little time.:D

Yeah, she has been on the back burner for a while now.

I forgot to add to the list the front brake caliper lines on the Dodge . You touch one thing and the next thing in line goes.... Truck sounds pretty stout with the new exhaust though!

I also forgot I still have to put the fuel cell in the GN that I got from you last year!

How many weeks and counting?!?!:p

JCotton1 04-20-2010 01:01 PM

Is this my Bro..... what up. Me and Brian were talkin last week. I told him maybe we set up a match in the ring with you guys, we'll get to see you again... :D Of course, if you show up at the shooting range.... you'll find me.. :D:D

PaceCarTA 05-31-2010 11:21 PM

any vids of the pumpkin run ?
how did griz do ?

.. and happy belated birthday alexandra

JCotton1 05-31-2010 11:56 PM

Hey Paul,

I think everyone rAn good to great.. We had a blast, Griz was pretty bad azzzzz. I think he ran a 60.. car was an animal just waiting to be cut loose!! The more I watch Harold run, the more I think that car has so much potential, it's scary..I really, really like that car. As for Mikie's Pinks car, ran awsome solid and easy 9.7's, Martin ran some 9.6's lifting trying not to break out, Kirk and BBob ran very well, but has a few issue and hung up the helmets to be safe. As for the Pumpkin, first time out in a year... and I mean, 1st time out of ther box, lots of new stuff, took it real easy the first pass, just rolled out slow and lifted in 2nd gear with about 15lbs. 2nd pass, I knew I needed to qualify for at least 9.50, so I threw a little extra fuel at it, ran 22lbs of boost and ran a 9.15@1.55plus with a 1.57 60ft... Tweaked a little bit before 1st round and drew a 7.17 camaro, dialed a 9.15, hooked a little bit and knew it, ran through the middle real good and nailed the brakes at the end so I wouldn't break out, 8.94@151.... Dam 1\8th mile was 2mph faster than the run before at 125plus... I'm pretty happy, no doubt the car is a lot faster than before.. so much for the October theory....

Great weekend at Lebanon

Good weather good raceing good freinds and like always good food. Thanks to everyone for making it a Great Weekend.

TurboBabe 06-08-2010 03:51 PM

I wanted to thank Harold and Patty for the great hotdogs, cookies, snack foods and the companionship and laughs. Val and Kirk for the awesome pulled pork, chicken, pineapple salsa, cole slaw and my favorite the cherry cobbler. I want Val to be my personal chef when she decides to switch careers. Thank you to Mike and Nicole (and the girls) for making the weekend like spending time with family. I wish Taylor could have stayed the whole weekend. Thanks Brian for being Jack's crew. Thank you to all the friends and customers who stopped by to visit and sample everyone's delicious food! Also thank you to all the Buick drivers who parked their cars in a nice neat row and remembered to put their hoods up...you are our best advertising. The racing was fun, the food fantastic and the time spent with friends the best. I hope everyone can make it to the Buick event at the end of this month.

TurboBabe 06-08-2010 08:27 PM

Additional thanks to Bob and his son for the steak, water and the chicken we will cook next time at the track. Also Brian Lee for his steak tips, sausage and grilling skills. Joey and Ali for their sausage sandwiches (peppers and onions) and steaks. Everyone who helped with food and beverages...thank you. It was a perfect weekend...well almost....no trophies but still everyone ran great...everyone just broke out and ran too fast!!!!
