Like how you used Yellow for the Buick letters. Looks like a killer, nice job!

Thanks,. The letters are actualy chrome but I guess the lighting made them look yellow

So, I take it you do your own powder coating, based on the oven in your garage? If so, is it easy enough?

NYC T Type 06-14-2009 01:28 AM

Brian you are very observant. Yes that is the oven i use and it is very easy. Check out the Eastwood Company if you are interested in doing your own Powder coating.

Yeah, if I ever get the time/money to do my kitchen over, my oven won't find it's way to the curb, it will find a nice home in the garage. I'm actually wondering how bad the powder coating tastes. I don't use the oven that oven, I use the grill mostly. If it doesn't taste too bad, maybe I'll just do it when my wife isn't around. :D
Just kidding, but I do want to do my own parts.

Thanks Walter. Yes that is a production 4.1 block bored to 4 inches.
