Any other 50BMG owners?

She's affectionately called, "Boomer".;) Makes my AK47s, AR15s and battle rifles seem like toys by comparison.

I'm thrilled with my AR50. I've had it for about 9 years and it's never missed a beat. Damn expensive to feed, though!

Time to add a .50 to the collection, Jack! Gotta warn ya though, feeding them isn't cheap. I thought feeding my precision .308s was expensive...until I bought my .50. Just to give you an idea of HOW expensive quality, match grade .50 ammo is...

Hi Jack,

There are public outdoor ranges across PA set up by the PA Game Commission. One of these ranges is a short 15 minute ride from my house. They don't have a caliber limit thankfully, so this is where I take the 50. As far as what I shoot, it's mostly paper. The occasional basketball size rock does make it in my crosshairs once shooting paper gets a little boring. It's pretty cool to watch a rock the size of a large pumpkin turn into dust from a single hit from a 50.

I also planned on hitting the range this past Saturday after fishing in the morning, but the fishing was so hot we decided to make a day out of it.:D

Spring cleaning for one of my long gun lockers. The AR50 makes the rest look tiny. :D

Nice..... we'll have to begin listing our guns in our sigs, like they do on the gun forums... :) If I get a chance, I'll have to do a little picture updating myself. Been having lots of fun this summer... broke out the Tommy gun last week.... daaaaaamn that was fun... :D

Ya gotta come to PA, Jack. We're a full-auto friendly state.;)

One thing I've noticed lately is the price increases for ammo. I just ordered some bulk 10mm Auto (unfortunately not a cartridge you will find at your local WalMart) and was shocked at how much the price has gone up since the last time I ordered it. I ended up ordering it through Georgia Arms since they have the best prices and customer service. Still the best place to bulk order quality ammo. I've personally fired many 10s of thousands of rounds of their ammo in various calibers (9mm, 357 Magnum, .40, 10mm, .45acp, 45 Colt, .223, .308) and have never had a failure of any kind.
