finally found my oil burning issue...

goes to show you, better to just cut the exhaust guides down and seal them.

though it was my rings leak down tests and compression tests proved otherwise. hopefully the machinist will make good with the heads

Good pics... definitely a proplem there, good job on tracking it down. Sometimes the toughest problems to find are the ones related to new parts. We tend to believe, as we should, that that area is fine..

reinastalled after guides were cut and fitted with seals and it no longer burns oil :) some machinists cant be trusted
