Brian, the exhaust was already there on my car ("GN1 Performance" dual 3" s.s) but Brian (Cotton) fabricated a custom 4" downpipe from the turbo, under the car, all the way to the flange where the dual system starts and goes to the rear of the car.
As for the tranny, believe it or not, but it's still the original 200-4R that was "beefed up" by our late friend Eric Schertz (Dynotech):o. At the time he built it several years ago, it did cost a bundle for the "bullet-proof" parts, electric trans-brake, but it NEVER gave up on me. I guess it's appropirate to say that "You get what you pay for"...After two years of use, Eric took it apart to inspect it, and found NOTHING not normal...so he just refreshened it up, and it's been on the car ever since. (Thanks Eric!...);)
Also, my girlfriend Claude and I have already begun making plans this afternoon to be there (NEBRA BBQ) next weekend, as soon as I finished speaking with Jack who just told me the great news that my car was finally done!! Yippee! :D Thanks A LOT Jack, and see you there!

Claude & Claude. ;)

toofastforyou 10-03-2009 05:41 PM

Jack...unfortunately for some reason, the pics in your last two posts don't work or appear...There are only some white squares and inside of them, a message saying: "This image or video has been moved or deleted - Photoshop"...:( ...BUT curiously, the ones you posted a few days ago are still there!...

Claude. ;)

JCotton1 10-03-2009 06:03 PM

They're working normal here... try again...

toofastforyou 10-03-2009 06:36 PM

Well, I tried again, using my computer as usual, but no pics. Then, re-tried with ANOTHER computer...still no pics!..

Claude. :o

P.S: Maybe a third person could verify this?...

Jack, I have one question: You were saying my new engine was a "153" motor...What exactly did you mean?...Is it the block casting# ? (as they say for a "109" block?)...and is it an "on" or "off" -center motor?

JCotton1 10-03-2009 07:01 PM

Yep, I messed it up by setting up separate albums... guess I can't do it after posting pics.. should be ok now

toofastforyou 10-03-2009 07:10 PM

YES! ...works now!! THANKS..

Claude. ;)

P.S: Have you read my question at the bottom of my last post?... thanks! C.

JCotton1 10-03-2009 07:38 PM

Yes, it is a 153 on-center motor, it's the best of the best blocks. It is actually the block I was supposed to get for a former TSO customer of mine, but the deal fell through at the last minute, when the block owner disappeared for a year and left me in a very bad position...

Well I guess the block owner "re-appeared" just at the right time for me!
That TSO customer...was it your good friend "TedA"? :D
Anyways, I thank you Jack, for giving me the opportunity to get my hands on such a great motor! If it wasn't for you, this could not have been possible!
So "153"... it's the block casting # right?

Thanks and talk to you soon,

Claude. ;)

Thanks "gumbo" for the nice comments! ;) I picked up the car last Saturday and yes it's got a "nasty", almost intimidating sound...:D
I'll be back at Jack's shop sometime next spring for a little fine tuning and to fix a few little "bugs" that are almost inevitable after some big modifications.
Now that winter is coming, it'll be time for some (actually A LOT !) powdercoating, ceramic coating, chrome, more detailing, etc...:D

See 'ya!

Claude. :)

With the help of my son, I removed a bunch of parts to send them either ceramic coated (mostly exhaust parts) or chromed...
well, the T/A stainless steel headers as well as the 4" downpipe Brian made are back from the ceramic coating and look simply g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s !! (see pics below). I'll post more pictures when everything (ceramic coated & chromed parts) is back on the car...

see 'ya!

Claude. :)

Are you kidding me...... Joey race that car... not today Angel. He just took a ride up to go for a cruise. He's not ready for the track yet, but he has put some serious miles on that thing... driving back and forth from NYC..
