Musclepalooza VII - May25th
 

Hemmings Muscle Machines presents MUSCLEPALOOZA VII, at Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, New York. Our Spring event will be held on Sunday, May 25th, 2008. Sure, you'll be able to show your car in our huge car show field, but you'll also be able to run the 1320 flat out to find out just who is king of the hill.

1/4-mile drag racing
Open to stock and modified American performance cars
Racing Time Trials: 10:00 am; Eliminations 1:00 pm
Muscle Car Show
Hemmings Judges' Choice Awards
Registration Closes: 12:00 noon; Judging 1:00 pm
All-American Cars
Events open to all Domestic Street Legal Cars in sound working order
Trophies Awarded
And your chance to have your car appear in Hemmings Motor News or Hemmings Muscle Machines.
Admission:
Spectators: $10 for adult
$2 for 6-to-12 year olds
$15 Car Show only; $30 Racing only
$35 Racing and Car Show (1 car/driver)
Gates Open: 8:00 a.m.

I'm going saturday and sunday to this one.....

I plan to be there as well. I'll make my first passes since going to Methanol injection... It makes my car an econo drag car :D

OK, OK, I'll go to. Stop twisting my arm. Hopefully it will be my first run without breaking anything until the event is over. :)

I plan on showing off my stock oil pan on this outing. ;)

:confused: Jack you only metioned a date for Sunday. Is this a weekend event?

I forgot to ask. Do you need to pass NHRA tech, or are you allowed to run in street configuration? You know my situation.

I gotta talk to my "guy" to see if I will be able to make it.;)

I would love to do that. My truck has no transmission in it right now.:mad: It is my luck.:rolleyes: Car sounds awesome, beautiful weekend ahead. My day will come.

Bubba won the 12.5 - 13.5 ??? class beating all the V8 iron in the Maroon car! Lot of pissed off V8 guys :D

When Brian won the final round, I was in the pits, and you could tell the V-8 guy was trying to mess with him. Even the announcer said, "He better get in and stage." Didn't bother Brian a bit though. Congrats Brian! The best part of this??? After he got his win, he packed up his daughter and friends and drove home....probably with the AC on.

I went out in round one due to a left foot right foot thing :eek: I'll be better for the NED race on 6/21.

11.7 @ 117 -- remember, I don't have a bar so am limited to 11.5 or slower. Running methanol now, so my cost of fuel is WAY down! :cool:

Hey, speaking of MusclePalooza, does anyone get Hemmings Muscle Machines?
They are supposed to do a couple of articles on a couple of Buicks that were there that day.

Well, the August issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines just came out. They have an article on Musclepalooza VII. And I'm in it!! Nope, not in the article about it. I am in my own article! Yup, I'm a celebrity! Maybe now girls will talk to me, instead of running away screaming. Ahhh, one can only hope. Oops, gotta go,the wife is coming. Sssssh, she thinks I was working on the house that weekend.

I think I figured out how to pay for my next motor. I'm going to sell my autograph. After all if the athletes can do it, why can't I make money at it? I mean, I'm alot faster than any of those guys. I just happen to need a car to out run them. :D
