If Jack doesn't want one here know where there is one at, we could post a link.
|
#buickgn on irc is still up and running. Only a very small handful of people in there that participate. I am usually in there nightly for a while. It used to be lots of conversation every night 10 yrs ago. Kinda dwindled away. But its still a good place to hang out while surfing the net. :)
Jack remembers all the fun we used to have on #turbobuick back in the day. :D That chatroom had SEVERAL people in there every night. It was shut down rather quickly for some reason. |
Yeah i have a chat room on my site http://Burnoutbox.activeboard.com/ For members only.at around 7 too 10pm we are on there talking.

But I think it would be better to have a dedicated camera instead of using the ones you already have. For security reasons. Ya know? I'll do some poking around today and let you know what I come up with. |
I just ordered one. I'll set it up at home to see how it works, and you can see if you like it. How's that?

Can someone check the link above and see if it works? It is of my garage, and no I won't be dancing around naked, so don't bother waiting for it. This is just a test to see how it works. Thanks. This link is a little better than the previous one. Edit: And this one should be even better: http://cottons.viewnetcam.com/CgiSta...ove&Language=0 |
Brian, I tried both and neither are working for me...
|
Yeah, I tried it from my parents house and it doesn't work.
I guess it isn't as easy as they claim. I'll play with it some more. |
Links don;t work, kinda like my car. Yup,
I;m still around. |
Yeah, I know. I haven't had any time to play with it lately. I'll try again later when things slow down.
|
Thanks for your effort....links didn't work for me...but if anybody can figure it out you will....Thanks Brian...how was dancing Saturday night?

Huh? What did you see?
It should be of my garage with a motor visible and my wagon with the hood up. OK, now that is totally screwed up. I haven't done anything to get this working. I just left it alone, and planned on getting back to it later. Now it appears that it is actually working. I hate it when things fix themselves. Now I don't know what was wrong with it in the first place. |
Link works well for me as well. Love the PVC pipe knuckle...
|
Why thank you. The PVC was to protect the battery charger that I had on it in the colder weather. When it gets real cold, the hood just falls. I didn't want to take the chance that it fell on the connections, shorted out and set the garage on fire. Those pipes are what is left over from my prototype Cold Air setup. When you experiment, you wind up with extra arts. Ya know?
|
well i see a car with a motor and a stand in front of the car.
|
Yup. That's my waGoN, and the motor in front of it is going into my GN if I ever get around to it. At some point we'll maybe set up some cameras like this at Jack's shop. Cheap and easy to do.
