Since I have to separate engine from motor mounts to to remove valve cover from passenger side, should I upgrade from ARP head bolts to ARP studs? Should I replace rod and/or main bearings while I have the oil pan off? If so, send me a package on Monday.
Conrad

No..... you should not need to touch the motor mount to get that cover off... just take yourtime... move the heater core tubes inward toward the plenum and the cover will come off just fine. No, you don't need head studs. You may take a peek at some rod and main bearing to see how they look or check what your oil pressure was...

Nope, can't just replace those fasteners, everything would have to be remachined, line bored and resized...
